How can I add a Cpanel email address?

  1. Log in to cPanel:

    • Open your web browser and log in to cPanel. Typically, you can access it via example.com/cpanel or cpanel.example.com.
  2. Navigate to Email Accounts:

    • On the cPanel home page, go to the "Email" section and click on "Email Accounts."
  3. Create a New Email Account:

    • Click the "Create" button to add a new email account.
  4. Enter Account Information:

    • Username: Enter the username for the email address you want to create. For example, if you want to create info@example.com, enter "info."
    • Domain: If you have multiple domains, select the correct domain from the dropdown menu.
    • Password: Create a strong password and re-enter it to confirm.
    • Storage Space: Specify the storage quota for the email account. You can choose "Unlimited" or set a specific MB value.
  5. Create the Account:

    • Once all the information is filled out, click the "Create" button.
  6. Manage Your Account:

    • The newly created email account will now appear in the "Email Accounts" list. From here, you can manage account settings, change the password, or perform other actions related to the account.
  7. Email Client or Webmail Settings:

    • If you want to use the email account with an email client (like Outlook or Thunderbird), you can find the necessary configuration details (IMAP/POP3 and SMTP server addresses, port numbers, etc.) under the "Connect Devices" section in cPanel.
    • Additionally, you can access your emails via Webmail, typically accessible at example.com/webmail.

By following these steps, you can create a new email account in cPanel. If you encounter any issues, you can seek help from your hosting provider’s support team.
