How Can I Transfer My Files to My Website?

• Log In to cPanel:

  • In your web browser, go to http://yourdomain.com/cpanel or https://yourdomain.com/cpanel.
  • Log in with your username and password.

• Open File Manager:

  • On the cPanel home page, click on the "File Manager" icon.

• Select the Correct Directory:

  • In the File Manager, locate the root directory of your website. This is usually named public_html or www.
  • Double-click to enter this directory.

• Upload Files:

  • In the File Manager toolbar, click the "Upload" button.
  • In the new window, click the "Select File" or "Browse" button to choose the files you want to upload from your computer.
  • Wait for the upload to complete.

• Manage Your Files:

  • The uploaded files will appear in the public_html directory.
  • Check to ensure the files are correctly uploaded and accessible.

• Set File Permissions if Necessary:

  • Some files may require permission adjustments. Right-click on the file and select "Change Permissions" to set the appropriate permissions.
